Checkerboard Farms is the home of exceptional breeding stallions, including the Friesian stallion Wander 352, and Andalusian stallion Astuto.
We ship fresh cooled and frozen semen and pride ourselves on our willingness to meet our customer’s breeding schedule. We want the same outcome our customers want: a mare impregnated in a timely and successful way, then producing a top quality, healthy foal.

Wander 352. KFPS Approved Friesian Breeding Stallion
Wander 352 is a FPS-approved Friesian stallion. There are less than 20 such stallions in North America, and less than 100 in the world. Wander is known for his temperament, beauty, and top quality offspring. A regal and impressive stallion, Wander has been included in movies and calendars. More importantly, a high percentage of his foals have done quite well at their Friesian inspections (“keurings”); many exhibit his trademark modern lines and beautiful floating movement. Wander’s semen has a high motility rate and retains its fertility qualities when shipped cooled or frozen.
